Flex Enterprises employs a full-time production staff that specializes in the manufacture of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic sub-assemblies for OEM customers. Since 1990 we have manufactured kits for JIT deliveries, KANBAN manufacturing operations, and field service kit preparation. We have been operating consigned stock operations on location for selected OEMs and large user customers for over ten years. Our assembly and kit products are sold to worldwide customers.

Our mechanical sub-assembly and kit products range from kits made of various rubber parts to operational assemblies using switches, brackets, harnesses, and electro-conductive pultruded plastic washers. We build field kits for OEMs with pulleys and timing belts slit to width on Flex slitters.

Our pneumatic assemblies consist of tubing, valves, fittings, and cylinders assembled for insertion into our OEM final products. We build field service kits and OEM kits from tubing, fittings, valves and cylinders as well. We have vacuum and pressure test equipment for certification of these assemblies.

Hydraulic OEM customers have long been well-serviced by Flex's hydraulic assembly department which features a 50,000 PSI burst tester and the best in hose cleaning equipment. Flex uses the latest equipment in the tube bending industry with our CNC tube bender. We manufacture hose and tubing assemblies, pressure test them, and package them into reusable totes along with tubing, adapters, fittings, sheet plastics, valves, and various other OEM accessory items. We also manufacture industrial hose assemblies and feature equipment for internal expansion, pressure and static conductivity testing. Flex is a recognized and approved facility for the manufacture of aerospace assemblies. We are familiar with all requirements from documentation to inventory control for FAA-approved assemblies.

Flex is an ISO-compliant facility. Our entire company uses ISO-acceptable practices and procedures. Our written assembly procedures feature digital pictures to demonstrate to assembly technicians the proper techniques as well as improper assembly results to avoid mistakes. Flex is also fully qualified to produce products to exact military standards and specifications. Our Quality Assurance department houses equipment such as an optical comparator, digital height and size gauges, and digital belt pitch length measuring equipment. Flex Enterprises is a quality certified supplier to many Fortune 500 companies as well as small and medium-sized OEM customers.
